Thinking about Spring
When the season shifts, it’s the little details — birds, florals, color — that bring spring inside.
There’s still snow on the ground here in New York — the kind that lingers, grey at the edges, stubborn in the shade. Winter isn’t quite finished with us yet. Mornings feel especially cold, and the city moves a little slower, bundled up and waiting.
But in the studio, I’m already thinking about spring.
About light shifting through windows again. About color returning quietly at first — a bird on a branch, a floral pattern catching the eye, the feeling that something softer is on its way. Lately, I’ve been drawn back to the joyful world of Paule Marrot: her birds mid-flight, her exuberant florals, her unapologetic use of color. These patterns feel like a promise — playful, optimistic, full of life.
This collection reminds me that while winter asks us to pause, spring rewards those who plan ahead. Every pillow is made to order, crafted thoughtfully and intentionally. Now is the perfect moment to consider adding color, pattern, and texture to your home or store, so that when the season shifts, your spaces are ready to welcome it.
Spring always comes. Sometimes it just needs a little anticipation.
